07 October, 2001 gallery additionsThis week's listings are mostly new, with a few oldies thrown in. It seems like I just don't have as much time to take photos as I'd like this year!As usual, Gary Kling is also contributing photos of a few different trees. Gary is a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a long-time friend and mentor. He specializes in woody plants and contributes to the gallery weekly.Gary and I are tentatively planning a two-day trip to Bernheim or a couple of shorter trips up to the Morton Arboreutum, Missouri Botanical Garden, and Chicago Botanical Garden. No matter what we decide on, I hope we come back with a nice collection of slides. Happy browsing, and please, tell your friends about us!Christopher Lindsey, gallery maintainer |
