14 April, 2002 gallery additions

This week I'm mostly adding plants from my recent trip to South Carolina, but there are some older ones thrown in just to get them out of the way.

I'm trying something new this week with the photos. I've been having a lot of problems with people poaching images from the gallery, so I've added a (hopefully) innocuous copyright notice in the lower right-hand corner. The plus side to this is that the images no longer have digital watermarks, so they should look a lot less grainy.

Finally, there's a new feature in the gallery. It's probably not particularly exciting to those of you who don't have images contributed, but just in case... On the left menubar there is a new link labeled 'Contributors'. Selecting that link will bring you to a page displaying who has contributed what to the gallery. It's a great way for contributors to keep track of what images they've already submitted.

I also spent a wonderfully sunny day today poking at the dirt...

Christopher Lindsey, gallery maintainer

P.S. My apologies to Theresa Schrum for not including her newest pictures in this run. I just got back from Chicago and didn't have time to add hers in, but they'll be up next week!
