27 October, 2002 gallery additions

I haven't forgotten about you!

Things always seem to get busy in the fall, and I just haven't had time to send out any updates for a couple of weeks.

The last update wasn't so hot in my opinion I was scraping the bottom of the barrel for plant slides.

This week they're still not perfect, but I think that there are some that you'll like. I took some pictures of the toadlilies and Pachysandra in my yard and scanned them for this week's edition, and I also found a box of unlabeled slides with some pretty nice pictures of annuals and bulbs that I had taken a couple of years ago.

There's also some better images contributed by Ed McDowell. Ed sent me these images a while back and I kept forgetting about them, but I'm finally adding them to the gallery. Ed volunteers for the Georgia Native Plant Society and has been contributing images regularly for a while now. Thanks, Ed!

The next update will have all new stuff. This weekend I took a trip out to Devil's Lake for camping and a day at Longenecker Gardens (University of Wisconsin, Madison) and shot about 200 frames. The sky was pretty cloudy, but hopefully there are some good fall color photos. I might even head back next weekend to get some more.

Anyhow, happy gardening!
