11 February, 2010 gallery additions

This update was actually published a few days ago, but I wanted to get the date and location data in the database before mailing an announcement. Then Valentine's Day came, and time with my wife is more important then being a few days late on a self-imposed deadline.

I'm still going through my old slides and unfiled photos and finding all kinds of gems. Some are a little 'rough' because they're older, but it's good to see that my photography skills have actually improved over time. The downside to using old photos is that they tend to need some Photoshop help to remove smudges and dust from the slides, so these updates are taking longer than expected.

On a different note, we're planning a whirlwind tour of eastern and southeastern states this spring, and I fully intend to visit a whole bunch of different gardens and come away with a lot of photos to share.

And one more thing the new gallery layout has been on hold as I've continued behind- the-secenes upgrades of software running the site. The current target date for the full migration to the new gallery layout is March 31, 2010.

I'll see you all in two weeks with another update!
