RE: new format for books

Donna, I'm assuming everyone is out weeding, watering, mulching, etc.
(Yesterday was one of the few dry days we've had. Storms are expected this
afternoon courtesy of our hottest day of the year today and the latest cold
front to move through.)

Past experience buying disk's with plant info was not positive. I'd be very
interested in knowing which books have gone to CD and how folks like them in
the PC format. Oddly enough, I took Hortus Third and "The Plant Book" in to
work with me yesterday to try to ID a plant for someone. I had to make 3
trips to get my files, the books and a birthday bouquet through the door!
LOL! A set of CD's would have cut my number of trips!

Subject: [CHAT] new format for books

Well either this group is down for the count or no one has anything to
say... so! :)

Concerning those large reference books we all have. Noticing more are
going to a cd or dvd type format. Anyone buying these? They obviously
take up much less space in our homes, but are they as thorough?

Of course, if a particular one is exceptional, I would love to hear
about it. BUT, these messages are archived, so if you are not happy with
the content of one, I would not really post that fact either. I am
guessing that a no comment would also state something too...

Confused! Yep, me too and I wrote it! :)
