Gene, a chat over dinner is always enjoyable with a knowledgeable gardener
well known or not. Do you know the name Mark Kane? He was garden editor &
photographer for Better Homes & Gardens & other Meredith publications for many
yrs, a noted photographer & garden speaker. Mark also appeared frequently with
Karen Strobeen on her TV show. He had a dificult time with brain cancer
recently & is a free lancer currently. He photographed my garden and is writing the
story as it is featured in Iowa Gardener magazine. I had the opportunity to
chat with him at the final shoot.
