I regret to announce that beloved TV and garden personality Jim Wilson (of
Victory Garden and other fame) passed away last evening. Jim was one of the
kindest people I knew- ranking in the top 3 along with my husband and father,
and will be sorely missed.

Jim always had a smile for any gardener, and was every bit the traditional
Southern Gentleman. With many TV personalities, there is a valley between what
you saw on TV and reality. With Jim, there was no valley. He was a friend to
