RE: sorting and donating

Call Salvaition Army- they will come pick up larger items like furniture and
take other boxed items at the same time. Been there, done that.

I wish!.... thinking my whole family are pack rats! So bad that when
cleaning out my mothers home, I found my baby dishes... I looked at her
and said I think we can throw these out, she had to debate it :( My
friends are overwhelmed by the junk that arrived here is a 3month
period, as this all happened at the same time... comment is, where do
you start. Major problem at first was as you sorted, there was no where
to put anything.

I have tried to get rid of some stuff that is sorted... a garage sale
was a bust and I would have taken any amount offered. (lotsa young
families here and thought they could use like new blankets, dishes and
stuff- no takers!- and I did not over price stuff, most was a nickel, a
dollar for a service of 8 dish set)... I also tried charity groups...
they were supposed to come pick it up, sat on the porch for a week,
never showed up....

BUT! My nature center is going to do a white elephant sale to raise
money, so all those items are heading there in March... along with
anything else sorted by then.

Which is more than you wanted to know on a gardening list :)
