And really, ladies, these days back surgery is considered a last
alternative when all other forms of therapy no longer work. So you are
no doubt way ahead of the game in conditioning the muscles of your back
to give additional support to your spinal column...do either of you do
any work with free weights, ie. of the low pound variety? You might want
to talk to a physical therapist about this and get some specific
exercises designed to strengthen those muscles.
