I'm feeling much better now, thanks Pam! Kids are out of school for the
summer after today so I'll be on a reduced sleep schedule anyway. With
the sink hole problem, the biggest thing is how close that darn thing is
to the main gas line...about 18 inches. I'm worried any further digging
in that area will cause significant problems. Thinking I'm gonna be
moving the water feature to a new locale and filling the whole thing in
with sand, capping it with cement, and covering it with soil. The actual
hole is about six feet from the foundation so that's not a big concern.
Geesh...just when that water feature was looking so darned pretty, too!
