Sorry to hear about your storm. Been there, done that with the saws.
I think we lost most of what we're going to lose ( keeping fingers crossed)
in the hurricanes last year and the hailstorms this year.
I'm so grateful for air conditioning! Was just out with the dogs, filling
bird feeders and such for a few minutes. My eyelids are sweatin'!
I'm with you on the water. With our well out, all we have is chlorinated
yuck. Still, it's better than nothing if you let it sit in an open container
in the refrigerator for a while. Guess we'll have to get used to the
chlorine. If and when the well guy gets here, the well will probably have to
be shock treated. Boohiss.
Funny thing about water. When the Dutch boys stayed with us for the
Olympics, they couldn't understand why "we Americans" always had our water
bottles with us. After nearly 2 weeks, they had it figured out. ;-)
