Hi Kitty,
        Great news that Mick is feeling better. HAving worked for a vet
early in my life, I do not remember a cat case of heartworm. It was awful
treating the dogs for heartworm. I'm sure the treatment has improved over
the last 25 years,  but the treatment was intervaneous(sp?) and very toxic.
