Re: Rain

Well. A two-pump system. We replaced one of the pump motors about 5 years ago. My guess is the other one finally went.

Cool and misting here this morning after yesterday afternoons storms. We
survived with no damage that I saw, but towns just to the north and
south and east of me where not that lucky. thankfully, the man upstairs
was watching over my home.

They don't. Woke up this morning to NO WATER... Soon as daylight
arrives, I'll call the water guy and see if we can take showers this
evening.

We got a real good shower today, too. It's been raining on Tuesday
afternoons lately. Unfortunately, I got carried away with pulling
out box elder trees and didn't get the yard mowed. :o( I'm hopeful
it will dry enough by tomorrow afternoon to get it done then. I'm
also having a really good time pulling out golden rods from among the
phlox.

Two showers today, but taken together, less than a half inch of
water. Of course, if we could get that every day, it would be nice.
I wouldn't have to worry about watering the stuff in pots and
hanging baskets.

And speaking of hanging baskets, I noticed today that our Garten
Perle cherry tomato has about a dozen green fruits. This is one T&M
recommended for hanging baskets, so it looks like they were right
although the plant is a bit rangy at this point. Maybe it will get
droopy as it gets bigger.
