Me too.  That is so sad. 
Regarding gardening with allergies...that would be me. The Queen of
Allergies. I take a Claratin D before going out...and sometimes I even
have to take a Benedryl when I go out..especially during early spring or
ragweed season. And I drink a lot of water.
