Well, it's in a south facing window so it gets a lot of bright afternoon
sunlight. It's the only window I HAVE that gets that kind of light...so
I have a lot of plants stuffed in front of it (much to my husband's
displeasure....). I keep thinking if I bring enough plants in every fall
he'll break down and get me a greenhouse!

Jesse, if you have your plant in bright light where ever you are keeping it 
the buds will open slowly. If the light is not very bright then you will 
probably lose some of those buds so don't be surprised. It doesn't mean 
anything is wrong with the plant just that it can't support the flower 
growth. They really need good light to continue producing.
