Bonnie, TAS is The Applique Society which is a national, maybe international, 
society of which we have a group here in the greater Des Moines area that is 
a member.  This group is detached from the quilt guild.  The TAS conference 
and quilt show is scheduled for May 2005 in Denver.  See      
    I think you have jumped in with both feet if you are working on a 
Baltimore applique.
     My garden is a great inspiration to me in designing & creating a quilt.
