Gardener's Journal
Hosta Mania
It started with one hosta, and now a GM assembly-line worker has collected 450 varieties of hostas that he breeds, sells and displays in his one-acre garden. There are hostas for sun and shade, hostas for small spaces and hostas for big places. Also featured are a demonstration on dividing and planting hostas and a tour of a home belonging to an urban archaeologist who uses scavenged goods to give her garden personal flair.
