Re White Christmas and Hosta Wheel

Dear Mr Frugal,

You can get a copy of the Hosta Wheels by corresponding with Tom
Micheletti ( see AHS Directory for address) or writing e-mail to Tom at

The Hosta Wheels is a 40 page document with about 174 groups of sports
which are organized into clonal groups (each wheel is derived from one
common cultivar (or species or seedling). The position on the wheel
describes the monocolor or variegation pattern. The document is an
on-going document, always in the process of having new sports added to
it. We now have a color wheel ( a standard color chart) which will be
added in the next edition. It will also have an index and a ready data
base of known sports. At three dollars a copy, (5 dollars post paid) it
is a bargain for frugal people like you. It's an excellent reference for
the origin and description of hosta sports.
