Virus X

Good Day All-

I am wondering if there has been a recent spike
in the occurance of Hosta Virus X.

I frequent another forum where pic's have been shared
through out this summer and there has been alot of pic's
posted with hosta that have looked similar to H.
Filagree (splotchy looking). Most of the folks posting
pic's are not Hosta experts. Many of them thinking
that they have found a sport have been very excited
about their special finds. A few have been encouraged
to send off leaves to Dr. Lockhardt. All seem to be
getting positive test results.

From what I've been lead to believe most have been
recent purchases, many thru some of the mega chains....

Has anybody else seen an increase in HVX?
