Winter Scientific Meeting


Well robins, here it is hot off the presses!  Be the first on your
block to have the inside scoop!  Also be the first to register, time is
running short!  Spread the word!
 It's again time to begin planning for the Winter Scientific Meeting of
the Midwest Regional Hosta Society. This years big mid-winter event will
be Sat. Jan. 23, 1999.  We will be in a new Hotel, the Hyatt Regency
Woodfield Hotel, 1800 E. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, IL (847) 605-1234.  Rooms
are $69.00 before Jan. 1 1999, mention the Hosta Society when you make
your reservations.  This Hotel is right across the street from the 250
store Woodfield Mall, with access to great shopping and many great
restaurants.
 
 Again we have an All Star line-up of speakers with interesting and
timely topics:

	The cost of the winter extravaganza is only $35.00 per person before
Jan 1, 1999, and $40.00 after Jan 1, 1999, which includes a continental
breakfast, and deli-buffet lunch, and good Hosta Hospitality Fri. and
Sat. nights.  Please make checks payable to the Norhtern Illinois Hosta
Society and mail before Jan. 1 with your name, address, phone and the
number attending to:
