pressing "Delete" key removes them all.

---------->> to select specific series of emails for deleting.  Highlight 
the first one, with one mouse click.  Hold down "shift" key and then mouse 
click on the last one wanted highlighted for deleting.  All emails from 
first to last  are now highlighted.  Press DELETE.

Just trying to be helpful, by showing you that DELETE can be an easy 
procedure i.e. deleting them all in one pass, or delete multi-emails in a 
single delete pass...no big deal?
