Re: Sandra Bond Hosta book

Have you tried Sandra Bond? She may well have copies. Goldbrook Plants,
Hoxne, Eye,
Suffolk IP21 5AN UK

It is a happy book for a gardener rather than a specialist collector. Most
of the 30-or-so pictures are hostas with other plants.

For the hosta collector a better and more recent book is The Gardener's
Guide to Growing Hostas--Diana Grenfell (again) which is ref. ISBN:0 7153
Lots of pictures, more plant descriptions, a bit more recent.
Roger Bowden.

>Hello to all,
>Does anyone know where I could purchase the Sandra Bond book Hosta
published in 1992 by Ward Lock Publishing in London? I have tried Amazon,
some out of print on line sources, and am running out of luck. If anyone
knows where it may be ordered I would appreciate it.
>Also, does anyone have this book, and if so could you give us a short
review? Is it in color, etc?
>P.S. I was able to find the Diana Grenfell book Hosta the Foliage Plant at
Fortner Books on-line site.
