100% pure white flowers

Anyone who has read my recent article in the Hosta journal on the
inheritance of white flowers in hosta could know by now that pure
white flowers as found in H sieboldii alba and its derivatives like
Snow flakes are a simple, recessive, mendelian factor. To say it
otherwise: Snowflakes selfed will give 100 % seedlings with pure
white flowers. Moreover , the chance of getting purple flowers from
adventitious buds in Snow Flakes is remote, to say it mildly
