Does anyone have a number on how many hostas are now registered? I am
guessing around 5,000.

As of 12/31/2004 there were 3227 registered hostas. Under the ICNCP a hosta
is not registered until it the formal publication of the next issue,
therefore, technically it is still 3227. However, since 1/1/2005 I have received 55
applications for registration which have been processed.
