As someone who once erroneously suggested you "take it off-list," I want to
tell you that there are many of us who do not want you to "shut up and go
away." This is not to say that we necessarily agree with you, but because
you have a valid point to make and it should be listened to AND responded to.

As a new member of AHS (but not yet a subscriber to the AHS Robin), it
appalls me that no one from the AHS leadership (or someone who supports
their view) has not responded to the current thread on hosta-open.
Responding to the AHS Robin is not sufficient, IMHO, since many loyal,
active and longtime members are no longer on the Robin but are on hosta-open.

And, returning to the first paragraph, my statement that there are those
who "do not necessarily agree with you" is intended to be another plea to
the apparent oligarchy that presently controls the AHS. Please! (If anyone
is lurking out there there can offer another side to the question on
hosta-open) Give us all the facts! Jim's allegations are too serious to be
