[IGS] curled seeds

Dale,

Sometimes pelargonium seeds have a fuzzy tail and sometimes they are
curled.

Normally, this means without human intervention, the seeds are curled. The
seeds with a fuzzy tail usually are taken from the plant before they are
completely ready to jump and fly away. The tail ("rostrum") of a
pelargonium seed often has a lot of fibers. These fibers are a kind of
wings, I suppose.

Even the seeds of some geranium species are curled.

Bye,

Peter
