Hi all,

These are some snapshots of Iris grant-duffii taken in a nature reserve 
in the southern Golan area in Israel. This species prefers seasonally wet lands 
and swamps - which are becoming increasingly rare due to cultivation of the 
lands. The flower size is about 8 cm in diameter, and the color on the photos 
is approximately correct as far as I remember. 

These pics have been done with a digital camera (Casio QV3500); the analog 
prints aren't ready yet.
