newer & older blue

  • Subject: [PHOTO] [iris-photos] newer & older blue

Not sure who this blue is it could be special feature not showing it's spaceage appendages the older clump in the back ground had bloom stalks that reached over 4  1/2  ft this year. Old and doggy but has lots of blooms & branches. It's nearing the end of it's blooming after over 2 weeks.  It always starts early & goes on nearly to midseason. Seedlings from it come in a wide range of colors always tall stalks & most of the time with it's branching.  Most of them are doggy though.  I did save one that has smaller blooms in a white & yellow combo that isn't doggy.  I hoped to use it on more modern things that don't have as many blooms or branching.
