Not very impressed with the form here, but the color is nice and it's
curious for a complete lack of haft marks. Usually there is some hint of
markings deep in the bloom even if they don't extend visibly to the

The STEPPING OUT rhizome came from Wal-Mart. It looked right, but you have
to wonder if it was correct. That plant became a victim of scorch when the
AIS convention was held in Dallas. The pod parent of this one is very retro
in form. It's still here due to the incredible shade of purple and is
blooming now. Even this seedling doesn't compare with the color and this
seedling is a nice color.
