Another one that was frozen out last year. I have gritched about the
caliche color some have shown, but it worked well here because it was in the
center of the lilac falls and highlighted the signal pattern. One of the
larger signal patterns among the siblings, but not a solid one. The lighter
area allowed the feature to really stand out. Never did get a good photo.
Here it's a bit too pink, but in many of the photos the standards appeared
far too blue. This was with a late afternoon sun at an angle and didn't
cause the falls and standards to contrast so much. It was more of a self
than the other photos indicated. This cross has been interesting. Better
than I expected, more uniform than a lot of crosses.
