Not everything merits a 'garden' name, but this one got one instantly. The
cross is (MORE REFRESHING x KOKO KNOLL) X ENERGIZER and was one of four
sdlgs from the TBxAB 1st gen plants. The other three were okay, but this
one became 'Gruesome'. Naturally it set pods and only one of the others set
a pod. A clear case of the captain going down with the ship, I guess. It's
also one of several crosses using Energizer where it seemed to contribute
almost nothing to the appearance of the seedlings. It's also the first time
where the appearance of the unbalanced pod parent showed up. I can only
hope this has good genes lurking around in those seed pods. The photo is
actually flattering if you can believe it.
