Since I initiated this discussion I thought I would point out there were actually two issues, one was having been taking off my yahoo groups (which I now know was probably due to my DSL service provider), and the strange e-mails, that apparently everyone else is getting also. I wasn?t trying to alarm anyone that Iris photos was especially dangerous. I am not even sure the person whose computer is compromised is on Iris photos. Judging from the names attached to the e-mails which are from famous Iris people all around the world I feel sort of honored to have made their address book

Currently at my work, we are receiving alot of these bogus mailer daemon emails. They are completely bogus, but look pretty legitmate. If there is a virus it will be an attachment, usually called interscan. Don't open the attachment, and you should be fine. Never open an attachment that you don't recognize. If it's on a group with photo's it should be .jpg or .gif, don't open anything with any other extension. Hope this helps. Will Warner

Every week or so in the last month "my computer" would send a message that I no longer should receive messages from Iris photos. When I check the archives I discover many messages I never receive. Whether it is related or not, I do not know, but I also would receive multiple messages each day from people on the group with titles like HERE'S THE DOCUMENT YOU REQUESTED or MAILER DAEMON DELIVERY FAILURE, or HI, these always have attachments that when scanned have various virus, worms etc. Since my Norton anti-virus is always running I never download any of these and just delete the message. At present I am bumped off the list and I can't seem to find a way to refresh it. Has everyone been experiencing these problems and are there any solutions?
