Loic with your theory  LADIES ONLY in FRENCH would be   DAMES SEULEMENT. There could be hundreds of similar example of this in French or other languages.The idea is not to have similar names registered. Not names with the same meanings.
If you are in the garden with LADIES ONLY on one tag and DAMES SEULEMENT you know you would have two different iris.
