Saw this next to a tree peony, thinking it was a spent blossom I had forgotten to deadhead.

I bent down to take a better look and what to my wondering eyes should appear? No not Santa, way too earlier, unless your sugar daddy is richer than my wife's'!

First time I've seen this many blossoms on a pardancanda.
