Robin, I really like the darker one.  How is the branching on it?  Thanks for sharing. 
With RE there is opportunity for rebloom.   PINK ATTRACTION (according to legend) was one of at least 1,000 seedlings that Earl Hall bloomed from Jean Guymer X Vanity.  PA has bad branching etc., but has more modern form than many of the time. 
It can give good stuff when used with modern irises.
