Betsy posted a photo of Jim Washington's selection being intro'd via the ASI
Plant Sale as it bloomed in Alabama. Here's a view of it in Texas this
year. The wind flattened the fall in the bottom photo which makes the bloom
look linear, but it shows how the shoulder color is repeated in the middle
of the standards. That effect, along with the signal pattern on the basic
lavender color make it something different among the other blooms.
