These are neat, Jeanette, I really like them.  I don't have any reticulatas, and your photo reminds me that I need to get some. 
We're having record highs here too - record high snowfall.  Another 12-20 inches coming in tonight and tomorrow, which will put us over the 100 inch mark for the winter - sigh (average is ~70 inches; last year was less than 50).  Blooming irises seem like a far-off dream right about now - makes all the photos that much more pleasant to see.  Thanks!
