I don't think that is Brown Lasso. Brown Lasso is a Dykes medal winner introduced by Dave Niswonger for Buckles, and I don't believe it is  a horned iris.

It's a delightful iris. I should build a shrine to it, instead of... by the driveway. It grew in "absolutely" no sun. I planted it in '03 but never bloom until yesterday.
