HYB: Indoors - Iris variegata X suaveolens var. rubromarginata

Here are two pictures of the second bloom open on the second seedling from the cross Iris variegata X suaveolens var. rubromarginata. In the second picture, I tried to give some idea of size by including my hand. As you'd probably expect, it's about consistent with MTB flower size.

I'm excited about the breeding potential the four seedlings from this cross should have, but especially so, now that two have bloomed indoors under lights.

Tom (in zone 6b Maryland - where we have at least another month before we'll see any outdoor bearded iris blooms)
