I saw this in bloom in the Sacremento Iris Society section of Lauers Flowers.(Larry was having a lunch meeting before returning to the SIS show while getting his gardens ready for the regional meeting tours this weekend.) The standards and spoons and rim of the falls had faded to a pale orange gold while the ground had faded to near white. I was really happy when mine opened a couple of days later.

Westpointer (G.Sutton 2001) TB

The brown marbled hybrid is by Sid Dubose 2001. All three are varmint-eating,squirrel chasing and dog-scratching critters. I have no idea where they got their penchet for removing or switching hybridising tags.:>)
