Hi all,

Just got back from attending the Region 6 Spring Regional Tour hosted by the Northeastern Ohio Iris Society. Would like to thank on behalf of all the attendees Chuck Chapman - guest speaker and judges training, Tony Willott - meeting chairman, Rick Evans - registrar, Jean Evans, Rose Holecek, and Frances Holecek - registration desk, Laurie Davis - bus transportation, Doug Fuhrmeyer - hotel and banquet, Gene Tremmel - speaker contact, Laurie Davis - favors and name tags, Joy Fuhrmeyer - Friday night refreshments, Tony and Dorothy Willott - tour schedule, Tony Willott - tour luncheon, Dorothy Willott - publications, Tony and Dorothy Willott - guest irises, Joy Fuhrmeyer and Laurie Davis - door prizes, Joy Fuhrmeyer and Gene Tremmel - raffle, Doug Fuhrmeyer - audiovisual, Joy Fuhrmeyer and Tony Willott - centerpieces, also Jean Evans and Laurie Davis - goodie bags. Also would like to thank on behalf of the attendees all the Northeastern Ohio Iris Society members who helped put on this terrific show, on such short notice..... IT WAS A TERRIFIC SUCCESS!!!

The bus tour included stops at the Sue James Garden, the Willott Garden, luncheon at the Hometown Buffett, continuing the tour at the Rockefeller Park public iris garden and concluding at the Fuhrmeyer Garden. Unfortunately for yours truly the battery pack on this digital camera ran out at Rockefeller Park and was unable to take any digital photos at the magnificient Fuhrmeyer garden.

I will post the pictures individually, there is something like 150 of them, so this will take some time, all with the same subject line, but the Iris picture sent will change.

Martin Foley - VP Southeast Michigan Iris Club
