OT:convention question

I visited Powell Gardens, Kingsville, MO near Kansas City Mo this past weekend and the trolley driver who was very proud of the new iris gardens told me there was an iris convention planned for the site next year.
Some of his information was a little off but I assume the one area is a test garden. Anyone know about a convention planned for there in '09?
