MDB: Gecko Echo

  • Subject: MDB: Gecko Echo
  • From: Matthew Booker <apetala2@yahoo.com>
  • Date: Sun, 11 May 2008 15:30:17 -0400

2 days ago my first MDB (or any non-bulbous) iris of the season bloomed: Gecko Echo (Kasperek 07). It's darker than what's at the Zebra Gardens web-page (where I obtained this guy), but I think it's the same iris. There are some little splotches of broken color.

The TBs are all shooting up bloom stalks, so the SDBs, IBs, and TBs will really bloom almost together. This will be a compact season.

Eastern Mass, Zone 6
