Linda ,I grow some yellow spuria which you can see
in this attached picture behind Crystal Prism,. I'm in Z=7 but I don't know If
I'm any wettter or dryer than Donald. I'm just 50 miles south down the mountain

It might - depends on the year! We've had summers
that have almost been
rain free, tho humidity usually stays pretty
high. This summer, it
seemed to rain an inch to several inches every
few days through most of
the summer. It finally quit raining in late
August (? I think).
Soil drainage is never a problem out in the
gravelly part of the garden,
but if they are prone to diseases that thrive
with high humidity, they
probably wouldn't do well here.
