Owyhee Dessert - Pinkston 97 can be so misarable some years but all is forgiven for the show she is putting on this year. Each flower is huge and the creamy green of the stds really shows. This is one of the less perfect ones.
Momentous Occasion -Sutton 00 is one of my favourite breed irises but often doesn't produce pollen or has dry style arms. This year every bloom had been perfect both ways. Did well on the show bench also.
Tintinara - Donnell 88 is one of those red browns that seems get your attention from right across the garden. Tintinara is a town in South Australia about an hour from the Victorian border.
