Margie -- What's the iris with the red falls behind PUCCINI? -- Griff
Inquiring minds want to know.(g) Perhaps erroneously, I posed the same question mentally when first viewing the photo. Then I decided it was the underside of Puccini. In fact I intended asking questions about the photo earlier, got started doing something else, lapsed into attention deficit disorder, and forgot what I was doing.
So here are my questions about your very fine photo. It appears the image has been sharpened. If so was this done with camera settings or photo editing software? If the photo was tweaked with software, if you recall, which parameters, if any, affecting hue, tone, brightness, color, saturation, etc., were tweaked?
I am interested in both the photography mechanics and irises that have significantly different color layers on the underside of the falls. I recently acquired Puccini for its pattern. It has not bloomed yet here. I do not recall it having a different colored underside at the time I acquired it. That could well have been another incidence of ADD or it could be seein' too many irises that day. Does it?
Thinkin' some Puccini's backside looks some like a hard whupped baby's.
Smiles from a far too young to again be made grandparent,
