Marvin Davis Seedling

  • Subject: [PHOTO] [iris-photos] Marvin Davis Seedling
  • From: "Cordesview" cordesview@m33access.com

This is a seedling from Marvin Davis' garden in Indiana.
Photo was taken at the 2005 Regional meeting this past May.
Perry Dyer and I agreed that this seedling possessed a unique "smiley" pattern of plicata speckles just below the beard.  Continuing down the fall to the edge, the pattern also produced a stripe.
After seeing this iris, it became a "must have!"
