Betty, Colorado is Zone 4/5. We usually get temps during
stock show time, mid January to 10 to 20 below. The seeds
are out in the elements in pots from Oct to February when I put plastic over
a little "A" frame. See attached photo. I
provide just enough heat to keep the nights above 40. The
seed starts germinating about two weeks after covering.
