Re: CULT: HYB: Edith Wolford

I found Edith Wolford to be a terrific parent when crossed to Lullaby of
Spring. From this cross of over 300 seedlings I introduced Kevin's Theme, Cosmic
Wave, and Victoria Circle (which is one parent of Queen's Circle). Crossed
with Betty Simon Edith Wolford gave Forgotten Secret and True Believer.
Perhaps the most distinctive thing about the coloration of Edith Wolford is
that the falls are an approach to blue rather than lavender. The reason for
this seems to be that with respect to yellow coloring, Edith has strong yellow
in the standards and little or no yellow in the falls.
