SHOW: Akron Area Iris Society Early Iris Show, May 7th, Cleveland, OH

The Akron Area Iris Society cordially invites you to join us in
Northeast Ohio on Saturday, May 7th for our annual Early Iris Show at
its new location at the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse in Cleveland.
This show features dwarf and median irises, but there will be classes
for all classifications of irises and design classes, too. We will
even have an exhibition table set up for those unknown favorites
nearly everyone has.

Admission to the Park, Greenhouse and show are FREE, and there are no
entry fees for the show. Bring irises to show, or just come admire
the exhibits. While youre there, you can check out the greenhouse,
which showcases a collection of cactus and succulents, citrus trees,
tropicals, and a center garden that changes seasonally. Take time to
stroll through the manicured grounds and gardens. The park is also
home to Tony and Dorothy Willotts Public Display Garden, which
includes just about every iris they grow including their seedlings!
During the show, the display garden promises to be an explosion of
color, with thousands of MDBs and SDBs in bloom, and surely some IBs
by that time, too. The iris garden alone is worth the trip, as it
should be at peak bloom during the show. Please join us for a spring
day filled with irises and other botanic delights.

(The Rockefeller Park Greenhouse is easy to get to - a mere 2 blocks
off I-90 in Cleveland.)

For more information, directions, or a show schedule, please email
akroniris@yahoo.com.

I hope to see some of you there!
